YOUR Money Story.

The Money Story You Learned Before You Ever Did Your First Facial

Before you ever did your first facial…

Before you knew how to create a treatment plan, recommend a product, extract a pore, or turn a treatment room into a thriving business…

You already had a money story.

You just didn’t know it.

Nobody sits an eight-year-old down and says, “Okay, babe. Today we’re going to decide what you believe about money, wealth, success, and what you’re allowed to have.”

You learn it by watching.

You watch how the adults around you talk about bills.

You hear the tone in their voice when money gets tight.

You notice whether spending money feels exciting or dangerous.

You hear what they say about people who have a LOT of it.

You learn who gets to ask for more.

Who gets to dream big.

Who is considered “successful.”

Who is considered “greedy.”

And without realizing it, you start building a mental rulebook.

Money means this.

Rich people are that.

People like us don’t do that.

Wanting too much is bad.

Having enough is good.

You absorb it all.

Then you grow up.

You choose a career.

You become an esthetician.

You build a business.

And you start making decisions about pricing, sales, clients, growth, and income…

using a money story you may have never consciously chosen.

That is where things get interesting.

Because you can have the BEST business strategy in the world and still unconsciously sabotage your ability to make, keep, and receive more money.

Not because you’re incapable.

Not because you’re bad at business.

Because sometimes the strategy isn’t the problem.

The STORY underneath the strategy is.

Maybe you learned that money is stressful.

Maybe money always felt tense growing up.

Bills were stressful.

Unexpected expenses were stressful.

There was always something to worry about.

Maybe you watched adults work incredibly hard and still feel like they were barely getting ahead.

So your brain made a connection:

Money = stress.

Which sounds harmless until you start building a business.

Because suddenly, MORE money can subconsciously feel like MORE stress.

More clients.

More responsibility.

More expectations.

More decisions.

More people depending on you.

So you build.

You grow.

You start getting fully booked.

Revenue increases.

Things are working.

And then…

You pull back.

You stop marketing as consistently.

You stop selling.

You hesitate to raise your prices.

You create unnecessary chaos.

You suddenly decide you “need a break” right when momentum is building.

You might even convince yourself you don’t want that much success.

But what if you do?

What if part of you simply hasn’t learned that more money can mean more freedom, not more pressure?

That’s a completely different story.

Maybe you learned that people who charge a lot are greedy.

This one can be especially powerful for estheticians.

Because you CARE.

You genuinely want your clients to get results.

You want them to feel beautiful.

You want them to trust you.

You want to help.

You want to be generous.

And somewhere along the way, you may have decided that being a “good” business owner means making yourself affordable.

So you keep your prices low.

You add extras.

You give away your time.

You over-deliver.

You throw in “little things” that aren't little when you calculate how much time and product they actually cost you.

And you tell yourself:

“I’m just not money-focused.”

But eventually?

You’re exhausted.

You’re overworked.

Your calendar is packed.

Your bank account doesn’t reflect how hard you’re working.

And resentment starts creeping in.

Here’s the truth:

Undercharging does not make you a better person.

It does not make you more caring.

It does not make you more ethical.

And it certainly does not make your clients love you more.

It simply makes your business harder to sustain.

You cannot pour endlessly from an empty cup and call it abundance.

Your clients deserve an esthetician who is energized, resourced, present, and thriving.

Not one who is quietly calculating how many more appointments she needs to survive the month.

Maybe you learned that you should just be grateful to have clients.

This one sounds so positive.

“I’m just grateful people want to book with me.”

And YES.

Be grateful.

Celebrate your clients.

Appreciate the women who trust you.

Honor the fact that you get to do work you love.

But gratitude and underpricing are NOT the same thing.

Somewhere along the way, gratitude can become a cage.

You start thinking:

“I should be happy with what I have.”

“I don’t want to ask for too much.”

“I’m lucky people are even paying me.”

“Who am I to charge that?”

And suddenly you’re making business decisions from scarcity while calling it gratitude.

That’s when things get messy.

Because underpricing eventually creates resentment.

You resent the clients who ask for more.

You resent the appointments that take longer.

You resent having to constantly fill your books.

You resent the fact that you’re working so hard without seeing the financial payoff.

And even if you never SAY any of that out loud…

Your energy knows.

Your clients feel it.

Your business feels it.

You feel it.

And none of that is because you’re ungrateful.

It’s because your business model is no longer aligned with what you need.

So what do you do?

You don’t shame yourself.

You don’t beat yourself up for having scarcity beliefs.

You don’t decide you’re “bad at money.”

Because here’s the most important part:

You didn’t consciously choose most of these stories.

They were installed before you had the awareness to question them.

You learned them by watching.

By listening.

By experiencing.

And now?

You’re old enough to rewrite them.

That’s the POWER.

You can notice the thought and say:

“Wait. Is that actually true?”

You can question the belief.

You can separate your childhood from your current reality.

You can decide that the woman you’re becoming gets to have a completely different relationship with money.

Because your parents’ relationship with money is not your destiny.

Your first job is not your destiny.

Your old pricing is not your destiny.

Your past revenue is not your destiny.

And just because something has always been true for you…

does NOT mean it has to stay true.

You get to choose again.

You get to decide that money can feel safe.

That wealth can create freedom.

That charging more can allow you to serve better.

That making more money does not make you greedy.

That wanting a bigger life does not make you selfish.

That you can be wildly successful AND deeply generous.

That you can have beautiful boundaries AND incredible client relationships.

That you can make money without burning yourself into the ground.

That is the identity shift.

And that’s exactly what we walk through inside Rich Girl Energy.

Not hustle-culture hype.

Not “just think positive” fluff.

And definitely not pretending that changing your money mindset means ignoring reality.

It’s about getting brutally honest about the stories you’ve been running.

Finding the beliefs underneath your decisions.

And then deciding, ON PURPOSE, what comes next.

Because you are not here to build a beautiful business on top of an outdated money story.

You are here to rewrite the story.

To snap into your power.

To expand your capacity.

To become the woman who can make more, receive more, hold more, and still feel completely like herself.

Because normal thinking creates normal results.

And if you want an abnormal life?

You have to be willing to think in ways that look a little crazy to average people.

Let them think you’re crazy.

You’re busy becoming the woman who finally believes that MORE is safe.

And possible.

And allowed.

And yours.
